Back when I was flying, one of the squadron's department heads had a sister who was married to a high price lawyer and they had a house on Maui. We'd often go over there from Oahu for "navigational exercises" and crash at her place. Her next door neighbor was Alice Cooper.
He's come over and have a few beers and shoot the shit. Normal looking guy wearing normal looking clothes. Very nice fella. We'd be like, "this is so cool, talking to Alice Cooper!" He'd be like, "you guys are Navy pilots, that's so cool!" |

Awesome showman. The best thing was just how laid back and normal he was in the backyard. He was just this dude in shirt, shorts, and sandals having a few beers in the back yard. A good lesson of just how some celebrities are just regular Joes offstage. |
