Bernie actually is amazing.
This has been Hillary's race since 2008, and he's done about as good a job as anyone could of keeping that from her. She's still gonna get it, but he's made progress. They are gonna be fighting till the very last primary. He's batshit crazy and wrong just about every time he opens his mouth too. Which is also amazing in a different way. Apparently the enemy of my enemy isn't my friend but makes for some damn fine entertainment. |

Meh, most of his supporters couldn't begin to tell you where he stands on most issues, much less how he will accomplish his goals. They just know about free shit. He is the latest college fad. There were a lot of commies in the universities before, and there will still be after he is gone. |

Bernie Sanders On The Issues
What is the issue against the following ones? Getting Big Money Out of Politics and Restoring Democracy Big money and Corp money is the very reason why elected officials no longer represent the people. I think it is pretty simple, if you cannot physically vote for it you should not be able to give it money. Creating Decent Paying Jobs What is the issue with wanting decent paying jobs? Yeah the Gov't does not really create jobs unless they are public works projects or Gov't jobs, but they can remove ridiculous regulations, lower corp taxes and create a better climate for business to prosper. Remember we have lost millions of jobs to foreign shoes. Caring for Our Veterans Who has an issue with caring for our vets who have legitimate issues created by their service? Strengthen Social Security. The reality is the program is not going away, but it is going broke. So we must take steps to strengthen it. Perhaps ending fraud, the the BS disability claims etc. Fighting to Lower Prescription Drug Prices Yeah, like drug companies are not hosing us with insane drug prices. General Electric Must Pay to Restore the Hudson River Always thought a company should leave the environment as good as they found it. If you polluted it by pumping pollutants into it should be held accountable, and not the tax payer. Reforming Wall Street Wall Street takes massive risks, makes BS investments, lies, cheats and steals, yet no one goes to jail. Real Family Values Everyone says we have strayed so far from our core values. Making the Wealthy, Wall Street, and Large Corporations Pay their Fair Share Congress wrote laws with massive loopholes for the wealthy, Corp America and executives that needs to end. Ok, Bernie may have a different spin on how to go about fixing these issues, but they need to be addressed, but sadly they never will be fixed. |

I watch the democratic debates, as many in GD do, and I have to say that when he sticks it to Hillary I actually get pretty happy.
Bernie is a good speaker, but when you drill down on his policy you find out that he has no actionable plan of execution, and what little substance he does have is scary as hell. |

If the government can place taxes and regulations on corporations, then corporations should be able to try to sway the vote. Hell, I think corporations should even get to vote. Investing is risky. You can't imprison someone for making bad investments. People who do illegal things do get imprisoned. However NOBODY should EVER get a bailout. Your family and my family may not share the same values.
