Yes! I yell at assholes every day who don't know how to use their gas pedals.

Should we also stare at the logo on the steering wheel while doing so, then the speedo, to the exclusion of, oh, I don know, the outside world?

If I were to live my whole life without seeing that video I wouldn't feel like I missed anything.

The most amazing part of that video is that the ford didn't break at WOT
|
|
Stupid video. But yea it's hard merge with 70+mph traffic when the dick head infront of you is doing 45mph.

If that is you OP, what engine?
Your interior is identical to mine Eta: just saw your post above 5.4 |

In Texas we can use the shoulder as an acceleration lane. Nobody seems clued in on this though.

Are people so stupid that a video lesson is required ? View Quote Yes. Here in KC, there are some on-ramps downtown that are probably only a little over a hundred feet long. Every day when I go through there, guaranteed there will be some dumbfuck at a complete stop at the bottom of one of the ramps because they simply do not understand what it takes to merge with traffic. |

Don't forget to pay attention to pay attention to the speedo while you are looking for a merge spot.
If you don't you may merge in front of a unmarked police car while you are going 20+ (officially 19) over the speed limit. Ask me how I know |
|
How to merge on to a highway:
1. Quit fucking around with your phone. 2. Stomp on the big pedal on the right. 3. Adjust your speed to avoid hitting slow moving morons, and fast moving maniacs. ETA: Did you do a hit of helium before the video started? |

When I had to do that last time I was there some Masshole closed up the space I was aiming to merge into! I was driving a Subaru, wish I'd had your Ford. |

Yeah, no.
I'll take my time to find a nice gap in traffic where I can get a steady slow acceleration for fuel economy and engine vitality. You're gonna want to take it slow. It shouldn't take you less than 20 seconds to go from 0 to 65. |
