Hey gd, school me on cyber school. My daughter (14) is convinced she wants to home school. The public school she attends right now has a good reputation, and she gets straight A's.
I think her problem is more of a social thing, as she only has a few friends, and has trouble making new ones. I don't think home schooling will help this. I don't think it's a good idea in her case, but I told her I would look into it. So, just was wondering where the best place to go for solid info on this would be. We're in PA. Thanks |
| My county school district will let students "attend" school via online course work. It is still public school so the students can participate in school based activities such as sports, prom, etc. The only kids I know of that use the online public school are either the very smart self driven kids that can finish an entire day of public school in a couple hours then either go to work or to community college for lower level college classes or the very socially awkward kids that really should get more social interactions. |
