A friend of a friend worked with him on one of his movies. I'm told he is a very respectful guy to all of the people working on the set to the point of knowing their names. Everybody liked him.

A couple of friends of mine who are brothers went to Valley Forge Military Academy when they were filming Taps, they actually stayed for the summer session just to be there while they kept filming. They said that Tom Cruise and Timothy Hutton were cool as hell to everyone, but Sean Penn was a total dickhead. They were hating Sean Penn long before most, because they actually had to be around him for a while. |

This explanation is spot on! He is bad shit crazy, from what I can tell, but a great actor. Then there are others who every time you see them you are reminded how they are idiots, hypocrites, racists, or anti-gun. Cruz is just a great actor.
