Has anyone watched “The Colony” ? I only watched the trailers before the season premier. It seems to me this show would be endorsement for the Second amendment. If 50% or more of the residents owned an AR-15 and 2,000 rounds of ammo this show would not make past the first 10 minutes. But remember it takes place in California. |

The "bad guys" defeated the worlds militaries in 1 night.........I'm not real sure an AR would help much against the real BGs but the collaborators it would do a number on....but that would bring down the wrath of the "bosses". |

I used to live in The Colony, TX, a northern burb of Dallas.
It's a lower middle class community essentially founded by Fox & Jacobs in the early 1970s as a bedroom community. It's main industry was package stores until Warren Buffet opened up North America's largest furniture store there....Nebraska Furniture Mart. That store has sales of about $50 million a month. Sales tax revenues to The Colony run about $1 million per month. No zombies but the main north-south road, Main Street, is under construction and it's a fucking nightmare. |

Well it did premiere 1/27/16 so season 2 starting January 2017 seems about right. Seems to be progressing okay, just wish they gave a back story on the invasion. |
