Before Checkpoint Mailers, when airline passengers found out at airport security they were carrying banned items, there were only two options: walking all they way back to their car or surrendering the items to security and never seeing them again. Now, for a $6 fee for U.S. destinations and $12 for international, passengerscan place the items in a CheckPoint Mailers secured dropbox and have them mailed back to them. The company currently has dropboxes in the Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C. airports and expects to be in about 40 airports by year end.
