I dont get it. Did your vehicle not come with rims?
Both my Ram and Dakota came with them and they work fine. There is a place in town that will rent rims. Wtf is that all about. Maybe Im just old and out of touch? |

Rim :
Wheel: 
The rim is the "outer edge of a wheel, holding the tire". It makes up the outer circular design of the wheel on which the inside edge of the tire is mounted on vehicles such as automobiles. I suppose you could buy/rent rims, but they wouldn't be any good without the rest of the wheel 
With that said - some people don't like stock wheels and/or want wider/lighter wheels for performance reasons. |

My car came with two different wheel sizes, so rotation was impossible. They were also heavy. And they looked just like every other wheel on every other car. I bought new wheels which are several pounds lighter, look great, and are all the same size so I can rotate. Old:  New:  |

| I've had 2 cars that came with "rims" that "didn't work". Not that there was any structural damage to the wheels, but the factory rear wheels were in a size that you can only get racing tires for (255/45R16). These were street cars so I had to get wheels that would accept street tires (17's for one car, 19's for the other). |
