My Grandfather carries an Old Timer all the time. Not my style but if it finds its way to me I'd give it a carry. Although last time he and I were cutting up stuff he leans over "Give me your knife(PM2)" and he started blasting through things much easier |

The Resilience looks to be similarly proportions as a Manix XL . A little beefier than the PM2. I suppose Military as well or Police. |

View Quote If it works for you that's the main thing, we aren't against less expensive knives in general. It's just, well, China. There are plenty of US made Kershaws in that price bracket, many or maybe most with 14C28N, which is a damn fine basic stainless steel. Very clean, takes a very fine edge, and decently tough. Edit: I don't mean to speak for everyone, this is more my POV and what I've gathered as being a general consensus, though I could be wrong. |

I don't treat my CRK/Microtechs/Protects any nicer than my cheap Kershaws. I just don't wince as much when I drop the Kershaw. A high-quality knife looks better after honest use anyway. |

People buy inexpensive knives. Seeing what others like in the range is helpful and worth discussing. And discussing drinks and being keto |
