I was in the process of making coffee and my son was trying to get the box of cereal down. He accidentally knocked the glass coffee pot on the floor. My heart sank and the look on his face was that of oh shit. I had to go to work coffee less. |

I can't go through a day with no coffee. |

And here I thought I was going to read about your son getting scalded or his foot cut or something, stfu about your stupid coffee and be glad your son wasn't injured. As for caffeine, go get some dark chocolate or something. Dude. there was no coffee in it at the time and I an thankful my son wasn't hurt, but it felt like my dog died. It was an old friend properly seasoned. |

For your next coffee maker, get one with a stainless steel thermal carafe and no burner.
My Cuisinart (before it finally shit the bed) thermal carafe would keep coffee "drinkably hot" for about 6 hours, "warm enough" for 8 and "nuke it in the morning, hey fresh coffee" over night. Absolutely zero nasty burnt coffee flavor from leaving the burner on too long (anywhere over about 10 minutes for me). The new off brand one I have doesn't stay warm as long, but the coffee is still noticeably better than the burner version. |

My 7 month old rolled off the bed a couple weeks ago. I felt like the lowest form of life possible. She cried and 20 mins later she acted like nothing happened. Babies bounce. (they are actually...very tough little bastards) Yes. The day we took my son home, he and I fell asleep on the bed. He rolled off my chest. Other than a tendency to be a daredevil now, he seems unaffected. I still feel bad. |

I thought I was going to have to bubble wrap everything in the house. He kept running his big head into everything. Maybe that's why he likes football so much. |
