I only drink it on draft.

I'll eat at any restaurant that has a Guinness tap handle.

This is every bit as good as draught.

It is not the same beer that comes in cans or regular bottles.

It's not that bad, I drink it.

But really there are much better stouts.

That looks interesting!

Just widget cans around here.  I'll crack one once I am done working out- the post-workout drink of champions!

Gift from my brother.  I think he got it at Bevmo.

The only way I will drink it is at a few pubs that actually use a nitrogen push.  Co2 ruins the beer.  Most bars just use co2

In this thread nobody reads the box that clearly states this is a limited edition amber ale from Guinness.  Dammit now I really want to try that.

Meh.

My wife dragged me to a Gaelic Storm show a month or two ago.  I got pretty shitty on that stuff.  Would not do again.

ETa-  stout that is.  I may try the other stuff someday.

It's not bad, but there are a ton of small craft beers that will beat it.

Drink Local.

The only reason bars use a nitrogen push is for long pours.  It prevents them from having a nightmare with trying to keep the pour right with a long pour.    I tried the nitrogen blend on our short system and it was a disaster for every beer.    We had to bump our pressures up so much that the beer was splashing out of the glass.  With straight liquid CO2 we get a nice even pour and a perfect 3/4" foam ring.  N has it's place, but it's not everywhere.
