It's not like someone who has probably never even seen a gun in person could  just google one, is it?

That "retarded" hold was in use long before Costa and Magpul brought it to the mainstream. There are a host of people who use it to great effect. I'm not one of them, but that doesn't mean it's retarded.

What version of Google are you using that beams the names of the mystery object you're trying to look up into your head?  I'm only using Windows 10.

It's extremely easy to figure guns out online if you spend a few minutes.

I'd imagine the artist just looked around for interesting guns to draw.

All right, fair enough.  What the heck is this one?  I'm not asking to be a jerk; I'm asking because I genuinely don't know.

The layout bears a passing resemblance to the OG-43, but I have to go to work so I can't search it. I know I've seen one before though.

I'm part of the firearms culture and I'm surprised I even know about the Welrod.  It's definitely something that should be on Forgotten Weapons.  The big reason I know what it was is, ironically, it was in Medal of Honor Raising Sun.  It was one of my favorite guns in the game.  The other being the 99 LMG.

I'm pretty sure the Welrod was in World of Guns. If I remember right there are a couple oddball guns in it.

The the welrod was in World of Guns.  I forgot that existed.  Odd that it's not on IMFDB.  For most firearms in media, like video games, it is a good source of what is what.  They even have an anime category along with one just for video games.

Think it was a competitor in the contest that resulted in the AK-47.

Nope.  See below - a predecessor to the AKS-74U.

Check out High School of the Dead it even has a Japanese ARF member in it.

Don't be mad at me if you like it and you notice that the second season has supposed to be released for years now.

No nudity that I remember either. It definitely has some dark themes and is not kid friendly.

Give that man a SEE-GAR!  What a world we live in where we learn new things about firearms from weird Japanese school girl anime gun porn.

Yeah, I forgot it is completely impossible to google a term such as "rare gun" or "interesting gun" or any number of permutations of that and come across an interesting item.

The internet is so hard to use.
