Just some questions for DD owners or experts. I was at a LGS last week, they had a DD V9.
I liked the light weight. V9 gtg? I looked at DD's website, didn't see the V9 listed. Did they replace name or end production? Thanks for any input, checked the Industry page, didn't find info. |
| I see that has the gov't profile but I snagged one of those scratch and dent DD 14.5" lw bbls with .625 gas block dia. on sale from AIM a while back and paired it with a DD BCG. Very satisfyingly accurate and shoots all kinds of different ammo without much if any POI change. |

Thanks!!
LGS has new for $1500, i see its listed for more on web. Interesting. Will give it a 2nd look at. |

You can't go wrong with DD imo. I have around 3.5k rounds through mine of all diff. types of ammo w/ zero problems or issues. http://i.imgur.com/Nlbq6Be.jpg Sexy |

I only own DD accessories, but based on those alone, I'd have complete confidence buying a DD rifle. Whenever I get around to wearing out my Colt M4 barrels, I intend to replace them with either DD or BCM lightweights. The only DD product I own is a rear sight, but it is a great product. |

Out of my 3 Larues, 2 franken ARs (that all run 100%) I enjoy my DD SBR upper on pre ban lower the most. And, it makes me wonder about things like adjustable gas blocks (on my Larues) because my DD runs perfect with our without a can. http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q613/Johnharden810/1C617FBA-D8CC-44FF-A983-9A825C1F29DA_zpsda6z5vxw.jpg I see your feet

DD factory built upper circa 2009 on bottom. Somewhere between 6-10k through it. Never a hiccup, very rarely cleaned, just drowned in oil when it starts making dust clouds https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5764/22426886893_7bf3d56cae_b.jpg Who made the lower on the bottom rifle? |

Love their rails, as a long time DD rail owner and have had a few of their barrels and uppers, but dammit they need to dial it back on their fucking gas ports. Any of you suppressor owners that have shot a DD barrel know exactly what I'm talking about. Last carbine gassed barrel I had was .081.... ![]() Want to get a Mk18 upper but scared about the gas port. Heard they're going to be supplying an option to get a correctly sized gas port on their MK18's in the near future. Hope that's true. |

Nope, not mine not even close to being over gassed. People who shoot mine ask me what I did to it to make it so it was not gassy. I didn't build my upper from parts so maybe I just lucky lol. |
