The Chieftains, boil the breakfast early, & a few of their older albums. The song they did with Sinaid O'coner was really good.
O Brother where art thou?, & O Sister where art thou? The music from Gettysburg, & some civil war songs, & music. Vavaldi.

Check out Impaled or Exhumed.  Immolation are awesome also, plus you can't forget Slayer, Reign In Blood is one of the greatest albums of all time.  But if you want a little mellower, get some old Sabbath.  Beware, once you go Death Metal or Grindcore it's hard to go back.

"We Want A Rich, Young, Dumb Nymphomaniac"

"I wanna rich, young, dumb nymphomaniac,
to drive me around in her Cadillac.
And when she's not on her knees
she'll be flat on her back.
I want a rich, young, dumb nymphomaniac."

I have the complete song in an mpeg file if you want a copy.

What kinda music do you like Coz???

Your idea of good music may not be mine or vice versa.

I happen to like a lot of techno and dance music. Some pop and hip hop. As well as 80's new wave. If interested I can get you a list of what I got on my HD.

Sorry been out mowing,

I like most everything except for old rock (The Who, Rush and ESPECIALLY OZZY! Did watch the Ozbornes last week for the first time, Thought it was hilarious when Ozzy was cussing the Cats and Dogs)
Dont get me wrong I like it its just that its been the same songs my entire life! (I'M 37)
I'd say my favorites are Korn and Marilyn Manson.

Thanks, COZ

Do so, it's awesome.
Also, their album "Heartwork" is a killer-riff laden masterpiece.

Check out "Symphonies Of Sickness", that is Carcass's greatest album.  Then check out Impaled "The Dead Shall Dead Remain" and "Mondo Medicale" you will swear you are listening to early 90s Carcass.  Same deal with Exhumed "Slaughtercult" and "Gore Metal".

PS Carcass had the best album covers before the PC police censored them.

I liked "Symphonies" but I like "Necroticism.." and "Heartwork" better.
I do not like Impaled or Exhumed.
I agree, Carcass had some insane covers!
Do you remember Pungent Stench's "Been Caught Buttering" cover?

Oh, Brahms' 4th symphony, Les Preludes by Lizst, Scheherazade by Rimski-Korsakov . . . the list goes on and on and one . . .

But I'm sure you meant modern music.  I sure wouldn't know about that.[:)]

[blue]Tower of Power[/blue]
Oakland's Own, in the OAKLAND ZONE

Brand new music from Tower of Power.
EXCELLENT.
Here's a link to the site with sound clips:
http://www.bumpcity.com/albums/oaklandzone.html

This band is my favorite.
Been around for years and one of best shows you'll ever see.
They play all around the world.
Their Horn Section is the best in the business.
SOUL.  FUNK.  TIGHT.  INFECTIOUS.
"You've GOT to Funkifize!"  [:D]

My favorite on the new CD is 'I've got a Pocketful of Soul'.
'Page One' is super tight.
'Oakland Zone' is good funk.

Give the sound clips a full listen and CRANK IT UP!
Check it out.

Y'know, I heard that if you crank the treble all the way up in your car, Geddy Lee's voice will make you windshield crack. [:D]
