i always do half the time and then let it end and then let it sit for 30 seconds and do the second half of the warm up time

Greatest late night drunk snack ever!

For 2 burritos, on paper plate I microwave on high for 1:30, let sit 30 seconds, then turn over and microwave 1 more minute.
Let sit for 5 minutes.

PRO TIP: first heat do it with the folded side down, otherwise they'll leak and stick to the plate!

Always keep a bunch on hand...

I like to hit mine with some dry heat after I nuke it.

I have found the best method is as follows:

1. Unwrap burrito and place it on a ceramic or glass plate
2. Cover the burrito with a slightly dampened paper towel
3. Set microwave to medium power for 3 minutes
4. Flip burrito after 3 minutes and place microwave on medium for 1 minute
5. Remove burrito and let it cool for a MINIMUM of 5 minutes
6. Throw frozen burrito directly into garbage

30 seconds. Turn over. 30 more seconds. Turn over. 30 seconds. Turn over. 30 seconds. Turn over. 30 more seconds and then it's pretty close to done in the middle.

Sometimes I will put it on a bed of lettuce, top it with a diced tomato and through some taco sauce on it.

It sounds like a lot of work for a shitty cheap burrito, but it isn't bad at all.

+1  I keep 1 or 2 in the fridge, so all I have to do is warm the oil.  The steak and cheese ones turn out really well

This.

Only time I have ever had one that was cooked properly I.
1. Remove frozen burrito from wrapper
2. Wrap in tinfoil
3. Place near exhaust manifold on Toyota pickup
4. Drive from Parhump NV to Baker CA, occasionally stopping to check for proper, even cooking.

Enjoy with leftover taco bell hot sauce found in glovebox while standing in the road in the middle of nowhere at 1am on a hot desert night.
(Yes, I really did this once).

Wrap them in a wet paper towel.

Microwave for two minutes if they're frozen, if you're still cold on the inside, flip them over and do another minute.

The science is to wrap them in foil, throw them over a medium hot grill and let them sit for 30 minutes, turning them once.  No kidding, they turn out great.

I originally devised this (actually a few of us) while snowmobiling a few years back.  We had some beer, took a ride up to a dry pond bed that was covered in about 8 feet of snow, and started a fire.  Once the fire was going we threw in some foil wrapped burritos.  A little while later, after the fire had melted itself down into the sow, we pulled the burritos out and they were awesome.

Follow heating directions, then let sit for a minimum of 2 minutes.  The magma hot areas will heat the frozen areas and loose heat.  Science bitch!

[#42]
take two frozen burritoes out of their plastic wrappers
wrap each one, individually, in a dry paper towel
put both (now in paper towels) on a single plate in the microwave
zap for 2:30
wait five minutes (any cold spots will meet their warm counterparts in temp by then)
eat

20 seconds on, 30 seconds off, until they are thawed. Then, massage the goo to spread the heat as you continue heating 20 seconds at a time until done.

Turn down the power settings and set for a longer time. I set mine to 30-50%.

I can get most items pretty consistently heated to a nice temperature.

Pretty much this.  Making a fresh burrito from scratch seems to take less overall real effort for far better result.
