| Is it possible to get my screen named changed on here. I wouldn't even care if it just had some characters to replace some of the letters. So can this be done or does it take an act of congress? |

I don't know why I thought it would be a good Idea to use my name as a user name on a website. Heck I would be fine if it was just Gentges versus my whole name. |

I've seen at least one person in the last year who changed theirs. |

Policy is no name changes, because then everyone will want one. I know it's been done, but pick a slow day, IM a Staff member - be very polite - and having a clean record, being a contributor rather than distractor all help too, as does being a paying member. ETA - consider yourself lucky if granted and thank them profusely if they actually go out of their way to do it. |

Easier to just start a new account. Wouldn't even bother the A-Team with this request. I can't even imagine the trouble it'd be to do it for just one person but for everyone who would request it on a daily basis?
Don't feel bad, a lot of people lost their post counts when they went from the old site to this one. There was lots wailing and gnashing of teeth.
