For $350 buy a sweet Suunto. G shocks are good cause they're cheap. This G shock is not cheap. yea I need to add one to the collection! I got an All Black Suunto Core for a gift about 2 years back from my Grandmother. I wear it everyday. Awesome piece of gear. |

I like it. My GShocks are my only watches that last over time with me. I break everything else. I love Gshocks but hate the flappy strap bands. they suck. I have one Gshock with a clasp band, it's my favorite. I have about 8 G shocks total. In all colors and flavors. So far I have beaten some to shit and they still carry on.... |

Huh? The Core burns through batteries? Quoted:

I did not like my Suunto Core. Keeping a pack of 2032 batteries around wasn't my idea of how a watch should be. Huh? The Core burns through batteries? I'm at 1 per year give or take. Sucks in those terms, the compass really burns them down if you constantly playing with it. |

Lol, everybody bitching about the $350 metal G-shock (which I kinda want, as its a nice looking watch, imho) missed this gem underneath for $950.
http://www.gshock.com/watches/Master_of_G/GPW1000-1B ETA: Hey look, the steel G-shock isn't $350.

I'm going to have to pay attention on my next battery switch. Now my buddy bought one last year and is still on the original battery. |

I switched to a solar with the a five year battery and that's doing okay. |
