Stressful day at the studio... glad the weekend is here.

His voice held up really well over the years, that's not any easy one to sing.

My favorite is Live at Pompeii.  Maybe the full video is out there, can't find it on Youtube after a quick search.

No doubt. Or play. In my 40's, wife unit bought me a guitar last April and recently learned to play it in it's entirety.

Congrats man, that has to feel pretty damn good.  Not sure my brain would let me learn an instrument at 40

Man,  I had the chance to go see one of their last concerts,  but I was a broke college student and couldn't spare the $100.

Division Bell tour in Cleveland '94 was the same week as my senior class trip... gave up Floyd for Hilton Head

I did go see the Roger Waters, The Wall show and is was pretty damn cool.

By far my favorite Floyd song.

Really weird thing is that Syd Barrett actually showed up at the studio while they were recording "shine on you crazy diamond" and asked if he could help. Not  knowing that it was basically about him.

I was fortunate enough listen to them growing up.
Really want to see Britfloyd. I'm told they're pretty good.

Gilmour's solos

Eta: always try and watch the wall with my pops when I visit.
Always fun blasting the stereo and piss my mom off.

Fearless could be my favorite.  It's hard to pick just one.  Floyd's one of those bands for me where my mood at the time I'm asked has a huge impact on how I answer the question of which one's my favorite.

Obscure Pink Floyd songs.

Excellent!

You shout in your sleep.
Perhaps the price is just too stepp.
Is your conscience at rest if once put to the test?
You awake with a start to just the beating of your heart.
Just one man beneath the sky,
Just two ears, just two eyes.
You set sail across the sea of longpast thoughts and memories.
Childhood's end,
Your fantasies merge with harsh realities.
And then as the sail is hoist,
You find your eyes are growing moist.
All the fears never voiced say you have to make your final choice.
Who are you and who am I to say we know the reason why?
Some are born;
Some men die beneath one infinite sky.
There'll be war, there'll be peace.
But everything one day will cease.
All the iron turned to rust;
All the proud men turned to dust.
And so all things, time will mend.
