Hello ARFCOM! Long time lurker/reader, first time poster!
Thought it was about time I introduced myself and started contributing to the community. A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Iowa and still enjoy visiting the home country. I joined the U.S. Army in 2001 when I turned 17, shortly after 9/11. I served five years as an Infantryman before forcefully transferred to the Field Artillery upon commissioning. I have been a proud Redleg for nine years now. I did my first two deployments with the 82nd Airborne Division and my last two deployments with the 1st Infantry Division. I am an avid firearm enthusiast. While I may have some favored brands of firearms (CZ, BCM, PWS, etc) I maintain that I am an equal opportunity shooter so everything, save a few collector pieces I inherited, in the safe gets range time throughout the year. I enjoy both AKs and ARs, but the ARs outnumber the AKs considerably. While I have been shooting the AR platform since before the '94 AWB, I was not bitten by the AR bug until 2011 when I built my first one. Then it was like crack. Thankfully the wife (also Army and a shooter herself) approves and supports my hobby. I just wish Iowa would change its laws regarding SBRs and suppressors, then I could finally bring the good stuff back home to share the enjoyment with the family! Anyways, glad to be a part of the community and I look forward to interacting with you guys and gals! ATW! -Fox |

Welcome and thank's for your service. Now, Beans or no beans? .40 or 9mm? Trump or Cruz? Ford, Chevy or Dodge? Your answers to the above will give you a long list of friends, and an equally long list of enemies Just kidding...mostly.. 1) Baked Beans, definitely. 2) .40 in the winter, 9mm in the summer (clothing dependent) 3) As long as they support the constitution, particularly the 2A (definitely not Hillary or Bernie) 4) I grew up with Ford and currently drive a Ford, but I wouldn't rule out Dodge. Chevy, on the other hand... ATW! -Fox |
