Is the General Discussion Forum not searchable?  Any general tips to using Search?  It doesn't seem as intuitive as other forums.

Example:

> enter keyword "cruz"
> get posts from "past 3 days"
> select forum "General - General Discussion Forum"
> type in the image code
> hit search
> Returns message, "You must select a Location (Board/Forum) to search."

Gotta be Team to search GD.

Go to Google and type in "<search term> site:ar15.com".  Works better than the site search, anyway.

ETA: I normally can find what I want through the site's search function, but sometimes I do have to resort to Google.

It's about as handy and accurate as using a Magic 8 Ball.

My main issue with the site search is that it won't point you to the actual page that your search term is on.  It just gives you the thread.  With a GD thread, that's a pain.

I use it a lot, and I find what I'm looking for. You just have to push the right buttons.

But yeah, non-paying members can search the tech forums, but not GD.

Apparently I can't subscribe to a thread in General Discussion either.

For just a few dollars a day you can help GD avoid dupes.
Won't you make the call?

The cheapest Team membership is only $24.  Well worth it, IMO.  Subscriptions and green arrows make life easier here.
