GOOD!

I was worried that the manufacturers might cut production if stuff didn't start moving quick again.  I want as much hardware in people's hands as possible.

Maybe for getting trusts formed and buying cans?  Other stuff not making any sense.  Panic buys usually occur after a shooting when politicians are dancing in fresh blood.

Why even that?  I thought the big change there was actually in our favor (CLEO sign-off no longer required for individuals or trusts, only notification)?

Now that selling lowers will receive greater scrutiny wrt "in the business" ... neckbeards are going to load up on lowers and sell them at inflated prices.

Nothing. Can. Go. Wrong. With. This. Plan.

From what I read, and correct me if I'm wrong, but BATFE will be doing away with the CLEO signature requirement for NFA items. If avoiding, or circumventing, the CLEO signature was the main reason to form a trust, wouldn't the removal of that requirement negate the advantages of forming the trust?

ETA - addressed already

Yeah there is no reason to panic. But then idiots panic, thus setting off a chain reaction of "if I don't get it now, neckbeards will get all of it and I'm stuck with the shit supply I have now!"

1. Bare-necks are the real problem most of the time.

2. I'm not sure why gun people are upset with another good panic. It floods the market with more product, is good for manufacturers, gets more people talking about buying guns, entices newbies to join the fun so they don't miss out, and over the long term is good for all of us. Wait... We do agree that the seeming of America is a good thing, right?

I'm not seeing much long term downside.

I think tonight I'm going to form 1 two more cans. 22 lr and a .50 cal can for beo and socom...

The other day I looked at what I had,(not related to any of this shit) and noticed I have 3 extra uppers and a box of lower parts kits. I went to my LGS yesterday to buy some lowers.  All sold out. Called 2 more places today, they sold all their cheap stuff already.

It's not, but people are swimming in rumors right now and don't know what's going on. My brother told me he read that "Obama was going to pass an executive order create a nationwide gun registry." Right wing "news sites" and bloggers have gone full retard and they love scare tactics.

My brother-who is a prohibited person anyway due to a DV charge-sent me a text Friday, basically "Obama is going to ban guns next week by executive order".

This is the same brother who believes the government is controlling the weather(they engineered Hurricane Katrina) and all these mass shootings in the news are staged by actors. Apparently there's a whole group believing this, and they want to raid a funeral, break the casket open and show everyone it's empty.

Also worth mention, individuals have to submit to ATF visits & inspection of NFA registered items; trusts do not.  Trust (still) FTW.

I've no damn clue. This isn't like SH when there was "fear of a AWB". The new "rules/EO/royal decrees" have been announced by the gutless Dear Leader. Nothing in there about AWB or mag limits etc. etc. This was Obama's last chance, nothing is going to happen until November.
