Jeb is either a hardcore optimist or has a huge ego.

He needs to fold his tent and fade away in the night.

Does he actually have real supporters?  I do not know anyone who wants him to be president.   At this point, I think he is only there to cause problems for the conservative candidates.   His donors are probably going to switch to Rubio at some point and then put all their money on the hildabeast.

Fox News last summer was touting him as the eventual nominee.  Lately they have been reporting that his candidacy is completely running on negatives.  Negative campaign ads, negative Super-PAC ads and negative polling numbers.

NYT: How Jeb Bush Hopes to Save His Candidacy

New York Times ^

HIALEAH, Fla. - Jeb Bush and his supporters still have a pile of money to spend - remnants of $100 million raised when he seemed early this year to be a sure bet. They have an expansive ground operation in New Hampshire. And allies have just began a new ad campaign in Iowa.

But nothing they have tried so far has lifted Mr. Bush's terrible poll numbers. And with just four weeks remaining until voting begins, Mr. Bush needs to do something to save his candidacy.

It may be too late: Other campaigns appear to have counted him out altogether. But, in extensive interviews over the past week, aides and key allies to Mr. Bush described a long-shot plan to pull off what seems all but impossible - winning the Republican nomination for president. The plan has six elements:

Stay on the Attack

Avoid Embarrassment in Iowa

Win New Hampshire - or at Least Come in the Top 3

Woo Senator Lindsey Graham

The Big Brother, and the Bush Alumni Network

The Advertising Blitz

Yeah, if you are pivoting from ignore the early contests so you can steamroll Super Tuesday to "Must win one of the early contests" in January, you are pretty well fucked.    Also a good sign that his donors are jumpng ship.

Then Trump forms a 3rd party, pulling in just enough Blacks and working class Whites to win, and the GOP is finished. After that, populist start challenging Republicans, in every state, and in every level of government, and neocons will never again have to power to start more useless wars, block common sense trade reform, or stop common sense banking reform.

Look at it this way. Yeb! Knows he doesn't have a chickens chance of winning with the electorate. He's still blowing through money like an obama. Either he expects the fix to be in, or he's looting his campaign accounts.
