Still one of my favorites.

B movie with an A list cast!  How did they get  people like James Whitmore, James Arness, and Edmund Gwenn in a giant insect, creature feature kind of movie?

Likely they were working under the old contract system and were obligated to do pretty much any film Warner Brothers put them in.

Honorable mention to Fess Parker and Leonard Nimoy.

Never seen it, but always seen stock footage of it on sci fi documentaries and shit. I've always wanted to kinda check it out.

Obvious out dated movie, they mention the kids flying model airplanes and the FAA wasn't arresting them.

Uniforms worn by the NM State Police still looked the same when I moved from there in 1997.

A classic that reminds me of watching "The Monster Fest" on one of the local channels in the Bay Area on Saturday afternoon.  I first saw that when I was probably 6 years old, and I thought it was scary as hell, lol.

I miss my childhood sometimes.

Great movie, one of my favorites.  This movie and others like it were the staple of late night sci-fi or "nightmare" shows on TV in the 1970s.

Proof the .45 is far superior to the .38 Special and by extension the 9mm.

That goes without saying.  Everyone knew this at the end of WWII and Korea-to include every two-bit, B-grade movie producer and director.

Did you see Luger, P38s, or MP 38 / 40s  being used?  No, and there's a reason for that.

It's only been since the 1980s that the pussified generation of Americans that watched Lethal Weapon embraced the weaker, Euro-Weenie 9X19mm cartridge as acceptable for slaying bad guys, aliens, and other life forms that laugh off the such an ineffective, anemic cartridge.

If "Them!" is ever remade, the remake will be FUBAR beyond all recognition, since the M1911A1 and TSMG are no longer in the inventory.  The M4 with it's gay-ass 5.56mm NATO round will perform abysmally too (as if some of us haven't been saying this for years).  Mankind will probably be wiped out as a result.

We are doomed.

Just finished it. Pretty good, but the ants sure weren't nearly as much as a threat as the doctor says. LOL
