Anyone have vanity plates for their vehicles? Anyone have one that's tricky to read? I've been seeing more and more combinations of different numbers and letters that makes it hard to tell what they are unless you're looking right at them for a few seconds.
Thinking about getting a vanity plate of some sort for my future stang. Right now I've got an EMS plate for my daily driver. Thanks -Emt1581 |

"radio operator" (amateur radio) plates.
Some other states lets a ham get tags for multiple vehicles, but with a -1 or -2 behind the callsign. Texas lets me put those on multiple vehicles with the same callsign. So a cop could run my tag and get four vehicles on the return. It's only an extra $1 so I get them. |

Quoted: I just ordered this: http://i813.photobucket.com/albums/zz51/simplemitch/Shooting%20stuff/UPGRAYD%20plate_zpsqsqgjysi.jpg Now I have to get this bumper sticker (or something like it): https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/82/1f/e1/821fe1bc9e572aa1c7e5d9054c45fd15.jpg ETA: I also need to find out if I can add an upperscript 2 decal to the "D", for the Double Dose of pimpin'. I want that sticker too. Or one with Pres Camacho and the M249. |

I have vanity plates on one of my trucks.
Pondered getting them for my other junk but I am not giving the state another $50 a year in registration fees. In fact I am thinking about getting rid of the ones that I have. Wish they were cheaper, I love the look of the reissued California black plates, they would look great on my black truck. |

My screen name resembles that when it was used in original context as all caps on the AOL font. |

Wife has this vanity plate on her Mustang. <a href="http://s1205.photobucket.com/user/DamascusKnifemaker/media/Cars/backoff_zpsdgkfuqhz.jpg.html" target="_blank">http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb435/DamascusKnifemaker/Cars/backoff_zpsdgkfuqhz.jpg</a> <a href="http://s1205.photobucket.com/user/DamascusKnifemaker/media/Cars/IMG_2856c.jpg.html" target="_blank">http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb435/DamascusKnifemaker/Cars/IMG_2856c.jpg</a> With a setup like that I'd think her plate would say KEEP UP Nice! -Emt1581 |

I saw a plate a few months ago that is the best vanity plate I've ever seen: LB NACL For those of you who are scientifically challenged, LB is the abbreviation for POUND, and NACL is the chemical abbreviation for sodium chloride, or SALT. Is is trying to infer pound sand? |

Is is trying to infer pound sand? LB SIO2 would make more sense for that. |

I have personalized plates. The Plates read, "IF RK" which one would probably think are two sets of initials but it stands for the poem, "If" but Rudyard Kipling. I would never think of that poem if I saw your plate It just doesn't spring to mind at the sight of IF RK |

Is is trying to infer pound sand? yeah, WTF does "pound salt" mean? I saw a guy with a plate that said "OOPSYKINS" The guy was about 60 years old, one of those really tiny guys that wear really tidy fussy clothes that make them look incredo-gay, like a sweater vest and a bow tie |

IMHO, grown ups have regular plates. I'm not special and I don't want to stand out, so I opted not to go with HAM, EMS, Rescue, or Fire plates. Just my personal opinion. |

drop hummer? doctor femur? Quoted:

I have only had one vanity plate. DRPHMR on my motorcycle. As simple as I thought it was only a couple of people ever got it. I wasn't even trying to be cryptic. drop hummer? doctor femur? Drop Hammer. Figured as a pretty common car/hot rod term it would be simple but too many focus on the dr being Doctor. |

762X39 on my old truck. NRA plate
VA's DTOM plate currently. Personalized as well. I saw a plate a couple years ago. "2INDPNK" There was a shocker sticker in the back window. I laughed my ass off. Dad was riding with me and didn't get it...so I had to explain it to him

I don't think anyone (except for you) says pound salt up your ass. |
