Does anyone know what happened to those three ships from Iraq who were circling in radio silence in the Indian Ocean?

I heard a couple theories, but nothing subtantial.
1) SEALS boarded and captured the ships, holding the evidence of chemical weapons.
2) The Silent Service sunk them.

So what is the story?

Haven't heard anything new in weeks.  I wonder if they've been watching FoxNews Channel on satellite?  Time to turn themselves in.

"Oh great American liberators!  We stole these chemicals from Saddam and snuck them out of the country so he couldn't use them against your magnificent, invincible army!  We hid them out here in the Indian Ocean for safe keeping!  We be friends now, yes?"

[rolleyes]

Perhaps they never really existed. or existed, were searched, and nothing found? there were a lot of stories from this war that turned out to be unintentionally false or exaggerated, e.g., particular chemical weapons found, Saddam dead, etc....
