Not doing so good after Paris, wonder why Refugee Aid There is a worsening crisis in this world that must be addressed. Millions of people are being displaced by the war torn regions in the Middle East. Lives are being lost, families are being ripped apart senselessly . Seeing this, and seeing how little our leadership is doing to take responsibility for the atrocities that are being committed, proves beyond a doubt that continuing to place hope in the bureaucrats is not going to solve this problem. These people need our assistance. As humans we must come together and help those most in need. All funds from this campaign will be securely placed and directly used to aid the refugees of war. Just so I have this straight: A combat vet, who was wounded in combat, was killed in urban violence and his family seeks to raise money in order to create positive influences in their community? That's funny to you that they haven't raised anything? I don't want to get this wrong. Thanks. |

I had an employee that had an accident a couple years ago, kinda fucked his arm up -- can't over use it, pain coming and going, and shit like that. The money he got for insurance was pretty decent, enough to pay his hospital bills and get therapy. Well, I say it should have been enough to pay for therapy, buuuut he spent it on a vacation, a 70" TV, alcohol, and drugs. Dude moved on to a higher paying job that had potential but fucked that up because of the drugs, alcohol, plus lets not forget general uselessness so he got canned. Hasn't worked in over a year -- yet finds a way to still get drugs and alcohol.
Well apparently his arm has gotten pretty bad and now needs more medical attention, so go started a GoFundMe around June. He posted a link of the Book of Faces. It backfired. People were commenting on if he'd use that money to pay them back, if he'd squander it away too, and all sorts of fun stuff to read. He yanked it. I know, CSB. |

I remember seeing a few of these on tumblr, but I do not have any specific links. Kids put them up when their pet cat/dog gets a medical emergency and the family can't afford to treat it. Surprisingly people pitch in.
If they can't afford to cover their pet's medical, to be honest they may be better off euthanizing it and putting their limited income towards other demands. |
