(Originally posted this on AR15 forums but I'm just posting this again for more people to be informed...)

Hello folks.

This is valid complaint. Please don't turn this thing into flame fest or lock this thread. I know I've complained about ARMS but this is serious.

First, I've ordered before from Sable co. Donnie was extremely helpful in choosing my first "tactical" optic which turned out to be Aimpoint ML2. I bought that and QRP mount from Sable co. at the end of last July. No hassles, and great service.

Now I bought SIR from ARMS. I felt my carbine is front heavy and I thought needed a vertical front grip. So I decided to order it from Sable co. since I've had good experience with them last summer. Guess not.

This time, I didn't want to get my order delayed so I first checked if the item was in stock. He replies yes. Then I sent him an e-mail with payment information and my currunt address. (*We moved from where we used to live in last August, but just the street address is different. City address and first 5 zip codes are the same*) I asked for quick process of my order and also asked when would my merchandise arrive.

He replied on 4/3/03 (thats about three days after I first sent my payment information) saying he has processed my order and informed me that the order will probably arrive on 4/5/03. (makes sense since USPS priority mail takes at least 2 days to arrive).

So I wait until Saturday(that is 4/5/03). It didn't arrive. I still wait because last time when I ordered from Sable.co Aimpoint and stuff arrived two days late - so I decided to wait extra two more days. Still no delivery. I ask him about why my order is not arriving and he suddenly sends the invoice pdf file to my older e-mail address that I've first used to contact Sable co. last summer. That e-mail address is ******@unitel.co.kr. I ordered vertical grip using ************@comcast.net. I was communicating through comcast.net and he suddenly sends e-mail with invoice to my old e-mail address! (that is 4/09/03) And on top of that, he used my OLD address to charge the card! He even put my shipping address wrong. He mixed up my older last 4 digits of zip code with my current address and dropped some of my street address!

Now I replied to him saying the billing and shipping addresses are wrong. He says, quote, "Problems with the massive increase in orders for our military. Address has been changed". But what address has been changed? At this point, I was still thinking that he shipped my order on 4/3/03 since he said it will arrive on 4/5/03. (remember priority mail takes 2 days).

I ask him if he just put the address wrong on the invoice despite shipping it right to my current address just to make it sure. He says he have shipped it to the address on invoice. (which means its wrong)

I sent him another mail yesterday asking him to do something about it to resolve the problem. I tell him why did he use the older and wrong records / address when I provided my current address when I first ordered the vertical grip.
His answer - What would you like me to do??
Now I try to be as polite as possible but this just doesn't make any sense. He told me that he sent invoice and received no address from me. Direct quote, "What would you like me to do? I sent you an invoice and you never
mentioned the address." WHAT INVOICE? My invoice arrived on 4/8/03 (or 4/9/03, my older e-mail account has time set to KST, not US EST, so there is about 13 hour difference. 4/8/03 US time should be correct) and that is definetely AFTER he has already shipped my vertical grip.

Then I explained to him I gave you the correct address with payment information and you used wrong address. (That is proved by him sending invoice to the OLDER e-mail address - when I ordered from Sable co. last July, I used that older e-mail account to order. Now after moving my house, I used different e-mail address, which is @comcast.net, to order.) The invoice he sent me was marked 4/02/03 and I was still thinking he shipped it on 4/3/03. (remember I asked him for quick processing and he told me it would arrive on Saturday. That is 4/5/03) I also included my original payment information along with the address to prove I'm correct.

Then he replies - he provides me with the tracking number. I use the tracking number to get the information from USPS and it turns out he shipped my stuff on 4/8/03 instead of 4/3/03. USPS tracking system also showed that my order arrived yesterday, 4/10/03. It didn't arrive, of course, since he used wrong address. Now I have two problems with Sable co -

1.Why did he say it will probably arrive on Saturday, 4/5/03 when I asked him for quick processing? I believed that only to realize he sent it on 4/8/03 instead.

2.Why did he use my old record without asking me about it? He says I didn't say anything after sending invoice but the invoice arrived on 4/9/03! I have never received any invoice from him prior to that date. I provided him with my current and correct address with payment information in the first place. No one asked him to use my old address. Then on top of that he used a wrong address for shipping.

Now I don't know what is going on.

We don't work there, call Donnie.

It is time to call Donnie and talk to him instead of trying to communicate through email. This is way to confusing for email.

I called him already and didn't get call back.

Called again today, so I might get it tomorrow.

I don't know Donnie's side of the story, so I will say this, e-mail really sucks for critical communications. Keep calling until you get to talk to him on the phone.

Donnie has always made it right with his customers, and I have no reason to believe this has changed.

I know you were in a hurry, but be patient and give him a chance.

You are right...but I still think He cannot be Donnie. I can't imagine this kind of response coming from Donnie.
