I was thinking the same thing until I had them this past Halloween. Maybe they changed the formula or something but they are a lot softer than I remember them being.

I have not eaten nerds since the 5th grade.

That was when I was swallowing a mouthful of them, while in class, and my best friend did something that made me laugh and they came out of my nose.

It felt like my nasal passage was being sandblasted, or should I say nerdblasted. It hurt. Oh did it hurt.

That was the last time I ate nerds. That was thirty years ago.
