Is this front sight on right? To me it looks like it would be vulnerable to get knocked off mounted that way.

I see it a lot in the KAC rifle thread in AR discussion

Short rail, probably wants more room to thumb over bore grip zone.

Good call. Not enough room to really drive the platform with the sight mounted properly.
