I've had no issues with heavy use on mine.

I don't remove them once they're on, so I can't comment on the "returns to zero" part.

QRP2 is solid. Yes it returns to zero.

Really wish the knob wasn't so darn big.  Pokes me in the back sometimes when slung.  Not a huge issue just an annoyance.

I recall an aftermarket low profile knob.

I put a busnell TRS-32 in mine and put my pro into a American Defense cantilever mount.  I did it more because I like the cosmetics and lower profile of the ADM mount.
the stock mount is actually quite nice. just heavy and bulky

Mine came loose, a little loctite fixed it up

The knob is too big IMO

I'd love one.  You buying?

i've probably seen 20 of them shoot loose over the last few years. only fix i've seen for the ones that wont ratchet tight enough is to use a strap wrench to prevent the ratcheting system from ratcheting.

i wouldnt trust it personally

Lol, I would if I could. I have one for my T1 and it is awesome.

Sometimes things are expensive because they are worth it!

LaRues are nice and I have quite a few, but the Aimpoint QRP2 mount is solid.  Hard to justify changing it.

It's nice, returns to zero. It is heavy though. If you get a magnifier you'll eventually get a cantilever mount. Otherwise it's a good mount for a good optic.

It's what I have on my patrol rifle and yes it returns to the zero. Never had any problems with it coming lose
I saw no need to spend money to switch to something else. If I was putting a magnifier on I probably would switch the mount.
I've had mine about 3yrs. No problems

It works fine. The big ass knob on the side sticks out a lot, and I would probably prefer a lower 3rd cowitness, but I don't care enough to buy a new mount.

The screws need loctight. Other than that it's solid

It's been solid for me. And yes, I've removed and re-mounted it several times and it holds zero. Unlike the PEPR mount I use with a Nikon scope. That thing needs a few shots to tweak it every time it's re-mounted.

On my daily carbine tossed in and out of car trunks for years. Same zero.

I had no trouble with mine. Even heald zero after removal, but yet I replaced it with a LaRue.

But a dab of Blue Loc-Tite on the shaft prior to tightening.
