| Does anyone know of a good source of high quality topo maps online? The Forest Service used to sell great 1:25 quad sheets at ranger stations, but I'm not sure they're still available. I'd also be interested in non US Forest areas. Any ideas? |

I print my own from the USGS site and from Caltopo.
Once you figure out Caltopo it is probably the best site around. https://caltopo.com/ Make sure you have a scale to check the maps after you print them. I had to try a few times until I got the scale right. |

Here, lots of customization options, including waterproof paper. |

You can stack a few layers and print at any scale you want. They also include a scale at the bottom and magnetic declenation diagram although it does not have grid north to true north offset.
