Nice.

BTW, I just discovered this place over in Tremont (Cleveland neighborhood) that has the absolute best tacos I've ever had, since leaving California 10 years ago.

Sweet Jesus, this place is awesome: http://barrio-tacos.com/

They have a truck, too.

I'm going to be honest - the place has a hipster vibe to it. But GOT...DAYUM do they make good tacos.

But...there's no lengua. And it just isn't quite the same when it's not being prepared by a sweaty 300lb Mexican with questionable English skills, and even more questionable legal status.

You'd hate Walnut Wednesday downtown:

It's definitely a different vibe than what I grew up with. Where I come from, taco trucks are either located on construction sites, or a shitty parking lot in an even shittier part of town. And they're not vinyl wrapped.

The trucks you see in this picture are "Food Trucks", and they're often an extension of a brick and mortar restaurant. Saw what you will about Cleveland, but there are no shortages of awesome places to eat. I'm not going to call it a culinary mecca, but I've been surprised as hell the past couple of years at what's been happening.

Still, I yearn for "home" sometimes. I actually found my favorite taco truck from back in the day - it's still going strong in Modesto, according to Google.

THIS is what a taco truck is supposed to look like. Shitty.

Barrio is tremendous 90% of the time. They are spotty here and there as far as freshness on occasion.

Tremont Tap House and Lincoln Park Pub (on Tuesday's) in Tremont and Johnny Mango (on Taco Tuesday) in nearby Ohio City are all great.

The area is definitely full of hipsters but there are a lot of great restaurants, bars, and pubs.
