Have you shot a 320? It has a better trigger and feel over the Glock.

Is this a prediction or a statement of fact? Can you attach the article or news release.

The requirements describe the Sig but its still gotta pass the testing. Good for Sig if they can do it. They were not going to be able to sell $900 classic models forever.
|
|
Lets support a gun company that hates America. Sounds about right.

I love that new sig 320 feels great in the hands I wanted to buy one, but I'm just to hell bent on my glocks... LOL, and really didn't want to learn a new trigger and then have to buy more and more holsters. Y'all know how that goes one leads to a box full of them... So I'll just keep my glocks..

|
A couple of months ago I was laughed at when I said the FBI would end up with the P320.
|
|
I do not see the big deal with this. Good for Sig maybe this will drive Glock to finally step outside of the box...... Make a 9mm with a rounded nose slide, front cocking serrations, paddle mag release, interchangeable front strap would be better than back, or really just something different.
I get this is the Glock forum but it is not like the FBI bought a bad pistol or that the Sig does something the Glock does not or vise versa. I imagine this may stem from Sig offered best price or it was politics. |
|
|
The 320s seem decent enough. They certainly have a better feel (even though I don't actually like the trigger all that much) than Glocks do. And although they don't have the track-record that Glocks currently have (particularly Gen3 models), this deal would give us a large sample size to judge reliability/durability.

The lack of any German made guns (like the Sig Mastershop ones) is purely a result of the German government restricting exports due to a sale of Sig's to a South American country. Columbia I believe. Sig has been producing handguns in NH for the US market LONG before Glock started making pistols here. |

I guess I never gave the 320 a chance after Sigs prior attempts at polymer framed guns. They were so bad I wrote off the brand.

Is this a bandwagon we need to jump on before it gets popular?
|

Get them on the government tit then they'll be less likely in the future to stir the shit with things like the sig brace or large muzzle brakes.

I think this is what is being discussed....
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2015/10/15/fbi-releases-rfp-for-new-pistols-full-size-compact-simunition-and-inert-trainers/ Looks like everyone was setup to fail unless they made a p320.... http://www.bluesheepdog.com/2015/10/19/f-b-i-selects-new-duty-pistol/ |

So, all classic guns, P320, ARs, MPX/MCX, etc are made in the USA. |

And yet, regardless of what the FBI uses, it will only be as good as the training they give the agents... Another Pistol is not going to prevent another Miami Shoot out...
The reoccurring theme with ALL of our Government agencies...They spend loads of Tax dollars to buy and field new toys to out fit there agencies with, yet they still provide mediocre training.. (Are you hearing me U.S.ARMY???) |

Serious questions.
Who gives a shit if the FBI doesn't use a Glock? Is that somehow a personal insult to Glock owners? |
|
The 320's trigger reset sucks, you basically have to let it go all the way back to the resting position. DannerTrax

The gen4 could stay the exact same as now except removing the finger grooves from the mold to provide a flat front strap, and an altered mag baseplate. |

These threads are stupid. If you're trained you could use a Glock, a Sig, a Beretta, a CZ, a whatever and you're gonna hit shit and its gonna work well. Its a damn pistol not a fighter jet, who gives a shit.

Too many opinionated people spewing misinformation on forums likes these. SIG hates USA Jesus fucking christ on a blue fucking pogo stick. Where do people come up with this shit. |

I love shooting my P320c, I keep saying that it is everything that people want glock to be. Take a serious look at it and I doubt you will be disappointed.

I love Sigs but that 320 feels odd and clunky. It's one of the few Sig models that I would never buy.
|

Reading about the 320, they sound great and I really wanted to like them.
But they are FUGLY. And while changing calibers is sorta neat, I don't have any use for it. |
