| How is it going to go tomorrow? Will you truly be round on the ends and high in the middle? What say the Ohio residents here? |

Someone with more knowledge on the issue will hopefully correct me, but it monopolizes the dispensaries in addition to legalizing recreational use, which I don't see as being a good thing to do. Close. It monopolizes the commercial growers. It's a clusterfuck, and I think it's going to fail. |

I am surprised to keep hearing the youth vote is "tepid" regarding this issue. |

I am surprised to keep hearing the youth vote is "tepid" regarding this issue. If it was a "clean" ballot issue, it'd pass handily. Ohioans have no problem with legal recreational weed (we already have pretty light drug laws to,that effect), but I think most have a problem with a cartel, system enshrined in the state constitution. I'm voting yes on 3 (and no on 2 for long term reasons - we can fix this), but I don't think the rest of the State will be joining me. And I don't blame them, honestly. We'll see. |

I don't mind the legalization I just hate the oligopoly it would create. If it passes (I don't think it will), it can be fixed. I'm sure it would be fixed in a year or two. Yeah, I don't know which way I'm going to vote on 3. Putting a cartel into the state's constitution is a horrendously bad idea. If both 2 and 3 pass then after the legal dust settles in a year or two I doubt any group would be eager to pick up the mantle. Besides a gigantic lawsuit isn't a good use of state resources. If 2 fails and 3 passes there will probably still be a lawsuit, although the state would probably lose eventually. Which is still a waste. The libertarian in me says that creating a constitutional oligopoly is such a bad idea that nothing is worth making that deal. Indeed, the Libertarian party is firmly against 3. |

No on 2 Yes on 3 http://buymarijuanaseeds.com/community/attachments/weed-3-gif.262951/ I'm looking at it like the CCW law.... it was a joke when first passed, but now one of the best. Yeah, but when the CCW law passed it didn't have a team of highly paid attorneys ready to fight to keep it as-is. |

I would vote for legalization of the evil weed but I agree this whole thing is a cluster that most likely will fail just on the monopoly and amendment to the Ohio constitution. |

I have a family member that could legitimately benefit from medical marijuana, so I hope this one passes. I'm not a fan of the state-sponsored grower's club, though. Who the hell thought of that? ![]() The guys who put up $20,000,000 so they would be the only ones who could grow the dope! |

It's a clusterfuck, designed to make a couple millionaires into billionaires. If everyone can't have an equal chance of capitalizing on it, then nobody should. This isn't Russia. |

I remain fascinated by the federal inaction to this whole legalization movement relative to the gay rights thing.
This is even a treaty issue. It's like they really don't support current federal laws, but lack the moral courage to admit it and take the appropriate action. |

Who the hell thought of that? ![]() The people that thought of it are the ones who paid to put it on the ballot. They are seeing that CO's MJ sales have reached over $100million a month. They want to be the only ones in on that gravy train. |

Of every state I've been stationed in...I hated Ohio the most. I spent 4 years there, and would rather go to hell than to return...or going to hell would be going to Ohio again. I hope I never have to see that state again.
I know, I'm in AR...we don't have indoor plumbing and like to date family and all. Still better than Ohio. |

That's my sense - and why I think the Obama administration and Democrats in general are all for it. The same kids who show up to the polls to legalize Marijuana will vote for lefty politicians probably 10:1. |

It's the only place that I've ever driven through that the entire length of I-75 is under construction at the same time. I live 20 some miles from Dayton. I've had my license 15 years and have never been able to get downtown without passing through construction. Not once. |

Im glad Ohio is voting on this today instead of during the presidential election. Voting for weed would bring all the dopers out to vote for hillery or Bernie. Maybe next November they will be to stoned to go vote. It doesn't matter when your vote is counted 3 or 4 times in cleveland. |

Issue 3 completely monopolizes marijuana. It does allow people to grow up to four plants. First you must get a grow license from the monopoly, then you may purchase your plants... But only plants purchased from the monopoly will be legal.
Issue 3 is not decriminalization or legalization. It is a get rich quick scheme. |

. I see this as a crony-capitalist version of state liquor agencies. It allows the growth of a private stash, so the weed heads have an option besides the cartels.
