OK, yes I feel like an idiot since it has never occurred to me to use this resource... In my defense, I don't know any and we've never used them before. I downed a small buck yesterday morning which proceeded to get back up after a short time and walk away  Had a good blood trail for 150 yards and then it tapered off to nothing and I still haven't found the deer. Potentially it wasn't a mortal wound but I'm fairly confident of my shot placement. Is it too late to call in a dog 24 hours later? Anyone know of any tracking dogs near Richmond Va? |
