I have comcast for interwebs but my own email server, just like hildabeast and it is working I have a [email protected] email address. So does my wife. Down since this afternoon. Which sucks because I am waiting delivery of a $2K road bike I had shipped and waiting on the UPS email to notify me as to when it is scheduled to arrive so I can be sure to be here when it does. |

When you change ISP's or when Comcast sells your area to another provider (they were going to do that before the merger fell through this year, notably Chattanooga and other areas that were surrounded by Charter) you will lose your email address. Google or Microsoft/Apple will be here a lot longer than most people stick with an ISP. |
