So I finally ditched the blackberry last weekend. Yes, a blackberry. ![]() I got the iPhone 6s Plus and went ahead and got the hd glass cover and an evo tactical case. What're some good accessories for these phones? I'm still looking for a decent coiled cable and mount for the car. Also a decent bluetooth headset. There are a bazillion choices so I come to the collective.
Any suggestions? |

The Griffin made coiled cables aren't that much less expensive, and I have had a couple of those go bad so far. Buying it as part of a package deal ( charger + cable) cuts the cost down, and who can't use a spare charger? |

Just picked up mine today too. Ordered a soft case and shatterproof screen protector off eBay for five bucks. Nothing like cheap protection for $1000 phone LOL. Although they are both the same type I use on my cellular iPad and they work.
Shopping around for a car mount as well. Can't find any great ones that will work. Get used to your phone yet? It's gonna take me a long time this thing is so freaking small. |

If you have amazon buy the amazon basics cables ... they have a lifetime warranty so when it breaks you can get new one for free
the Anker 5 port charger is great if you have multiple usb devices to charge. http://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerPort-Charging-Multi-Port-Charger/dp/B00VH8ZW02/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1445903019&sr=8-3&keywords=anker+charger |

I just bought an awesome Bluetooth earbud headset from Amazon about 10 days ago. Here's the link:
SoundPeats Q9A VERY comfortable with great sound. The bass is full and tight, and the highs are crisp & clean. Vocals, guitar and piano really punch through without sounding harsh or brittle. They are regularly $50, but they went on sale a few days later for $30, so I bought a few spares. I read in the reviews that they go on sale regularly, so if you can wait, $30 is a great price for this quality of headset. They last 4-5 hours on a charge, and you can't even feel them while they are on, but they stay put no matter what type of activity you're doing. |
|
And one more thing...
I also bought and use a cup mount for my iPhone 6s Plus and it works great. It has two USB outputs, two adapter plugs, and is very sturdy and holds the phone securely. iKross Phone Cup Holder The end that plugs into your car also has a pass through socket on it, so you won't loose that access to power if you like keeping that location available. The stalk is very stout and will not sag or bend easily, and the base locks in solidly. $20 well spent. |

Pro clips are the best mounts I have found. It's a two piece deal... you buy the mount that is specific to your car, then you buy the mount for your phone. They then screw together. This is what I use in the truck and car. Makes it easy to switch between phones if you ever change. Holds the phone securely and doesn't move around. They have a bunch of mount options for putting them in different places in your vehicle. I have 2 in the truck, one for the phone and one for an old school iPod. |

I hate the coiled cords on car chargers so I bought the lighter adapter and a 4' straight cable so it can charge wherever and not pull on the phone. Also a six foot charger cable for when at home. |

Quoted: It looks like you already have a case, but in case that's not true, I highly recommend the Magpul bump case for the 6+. Mine is solid and works great for the price. I think I paid 10 bucks on Amazon. |

Anyone have the otter box for their 6 plus? Can you fit in your pocket? Thinking of getting a 6+ it seems rather large.... I have the otter box for mine. (Had it for my 3gs and loved it) I haven't had any trouble fitting it in any of my pockets. 5.11 tac light pants and basketball shorts for work. The only bothersome thing is the tactilness of the case sticks to my pocket more (I'm guessing because of the size) and the case isn't as sealed up as the one for my 3gs was. (Camera lens/light is open, earpiece is open and there is just a small piece of plastic covering the home button (must be so the finger print reader still works) Also the speaker on bottom and headphone jack isn't as protected (3gs had foam to keep dust out) You won't be hitting the screen off button by accident it will take a little force. I have the HD glass on mine as well and the 3d touch still works and is still sesitive to my touch. All in all I like it but it is really the only case I've used and that is after research on other "tough cases" |

I have a battery pack case for my 6. I mainly use it on trips so I don't need a recharge when I'm using it a lot. Something to consider, but it may be unnecessary in your case since the 6 (s) Plus has a reputation for fantastic battery life (as opposed to just "good" on the 6). |

My girlfriend's brother has one and I saw it recharge a phone pretty damn quickly. |

They sound like a good deal and nice headphones, but I'm looking for one that just fits in one ear. I don't plan to use it for music or videos. It's just going to be for work. I just need something to plug in my ear while I work at the desk and not have to hold the huge iphone up to my face. I've been thinking of this one but I need to do more research. http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/voyager-edge#fndtn-overview http://a.pltcdn.com/images/catalog/product/small/voyager-edge-hero.png Quoted:

The last Bluetooth stereo headset I had was their 855 model. I bought my first one, and then a few spares of those about 6-7 years ago and the last pair finally crapped out a month ago. I might add that it had been through two complete cycles in the washing machine at different times and still worked perfectly after it dryed out. Remember, "That's One Small Step..." was spoken over a Plantronics headset from the moon. |
