| WTF is this, why does this company make them look like a suppressor? wtf |
|
That may look like a suppressor if you reside in a free state. If you live in a blue state, then that will look like a dildo because it's gonna get you fucked. |
|
If that freaks you out, this will really cause problems

Quoted: People are buying them and filling out a Form 1. It's handy that they can buy parts that serve one purpose and then legally make a suppressor without a mill or lathe. Quoted: Quoted: Nope. The real thing isn't that expensive. People are buying them and filling out a Form 1. It's handy that they can buy parts that serve one purpose and then legally make a suppressor without a mill or lathe. |

I've got no problem with that at all. Personally, the whole NFA tax scheme is just a sharp stick in the eye of Freedom but until it's repealed we have to do what it says. I have a feeling lots of guys are not doing a Form 1 and I hate for them to get jammed up due to ignorance/rebelliousness/greed. Quoted:

I don't care if someone wants to deliberately break the law, but I'd hate to see someone get nailed for a felony when they don't realize what they're doing. I personally think the whole NFA thing is stupid, but the penalties are too high to ignore it. |

Its a real good way to collect lead particulate and solvents and CLP from cleaning firearms after shooting reloads. Even into a nice common container that is cost effective that can then be labeled and collected by the city trash guys with my old paint and other "hazmat" items for proper disposal so it wont end up contaminating a land fill.... |

Yes. We do this every week because dummies think building silencers or selling raw building materials is illegal or shady. A solvent trap isn't a silencer until you bore it. Form 1 it when you do and you're 100% legal. Tell your friends, maybe we can stop doing this retarded dance every week. Here's my solvent trap. (30 cal Form 1) Stainless tube, titanium baffles. http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg482/verticalgain/misc/20151009_151751_zpsypj10y8e.jpg Quoted:

It's got a 2.5" blast chamber and 9 baffles evenly spaced. |

I saw them at a gun show last weekend. Looks shady. I didn't want to get too close to the table. The guy was working the crowd like a carnival barker selling snake oil. LOL Was his table next to the guys selling fudge, beef jerky, tasers, or sharpening knives? |

What's the worst that could happen? From the old sentencing guidelines a person without priors 27-33 months in prison. If they accept responsibility knock it down 2 levels to 21-27 months. If they plea early knock it down 1 more level to 18-24 months. After Johnson v US said possession of a short barrel shotgun isn't necessarily a danger to the public probably level 6 under sentencing guidelines 0-6 months that with early plea and accepting responsibility should knock it down to level 3 0-6 months. Both are well into probation territory but I'm not sure exactly how Johnson v US is taken into account. |
What's the current speed on Form 1's? I did mine in the spring and it came back lightening fast - like two months fast. I understand those not wanting to play the NFA game, however, and respect your decision. I'm just not in the situation to do so. Anyway, fuck the man and all that.

Oddly, that would make sense for a government agency, but I feel you are incorrect. |
