My phone just sent weather update, snow possible starting at 8pm.

It's kind of chilly up here, but I wasn't expecting that change in the forecast.  Oh well, throw some more wood in the stove I guess.

We got a little bit in Vermont.

It was confirmed by my son, who loves to eat snow, who ate all three flakes off the hood of my truck and came in to announce that it was definitely snow because it tastes like snow.

Shows what meteorologists know... It's "supposed" to be a real mild winter due to El Nino or whatever.

Many regions have been hit by a number of freak October storms in recent years.  Alfred was a good one.

Stay...  frosty.

I have no idea how cold it got last night.  It was just windy up here today and that made it seem much colder.

They're calling for 28* tonight and 26* tomorrow night.  I might have to return to the land of gas heat if this keeps up.

I've been telling folks all day that it's just a little ash from the neighbor's burn pile here. We always claim we are not only in the snowbelt, but our microclimate gets another 2-3 feet per year...
