I have a couple wool blankets that I bought in Lesotho when I was down in South Africa.  They are fantastic blankets but I want to get some more wool blankets.

Pendleton blankets look amazing but they are not cheap.  Are they worth the money?

What kind of wool blankets do you have? Where did you get them?  What would you recommend?

I have a few Penndleton blankets; they're really nice.  People had to die for me to have them, so from that perspective I'm not sure I'd say they're "worth it".

I don't have any Pendleton wool blankets, but I do have two Pendleton wool jackets from different eras. One is a '60s shirt-jac, Made in the USA. The other is a late '80s CPO jacket made in China.

Honestly, I can't really tell a difference between the quality and workmanship of the two. They are both very very good. I don't know what extent of the Made in China one was actually made in China (American wool + Chinese labor to make it into a jacket, or is it entirely Chinese?).

I would recommend Pendleton for wool stuff though, for sure.

I've got a Baron Woolen Mills my brother sent me from mormon land.  I like it, wife hates it.

I have "a" Pendleton Native American print Queen size for the wife and I. It was not cheap.

The kids have several .mil surplus blankets that I bought on the cheap.
