Yes, for some of you, the "Slate" story contains nothing new, but not everyone's as smart as you are.[:)] The article answers questions like how many soldiers are in a Division, Regiment, Battalion, Company. . . as well as ones like, "If there's a 101st Airborne, what happened to the 100th and 102nd?" | Hate to tell you but the article sucks. It barely touches on the heritage and history that is part of a division. Those guys that jumped from planes in WWII are still with the 101st in spirit. Living up to ones division history is as much a part of the military as wearing the uniform. I never saw it as a numbers game. |
