Random, but listening to some good music made me think of it for some reason. Picture below is some ancestors of mine. Seated dude's claim to fame was the ability to consistently take a running deer at 200+ yards with a single shot with a rifle (this is in the ~1860s).
I like to think if he'd been born in my time he would have been a Social Distortion fan. Guy was a badass.

Many years ago I had a former business partner that loved to conduct business in a strip club, so I got to "know" many of the girls. There was this one cute little thing that would have the DJ cue up some Social D whenever I walked in and would then come sit on my lap. |
| Love Social D and Mike Ness's solo stuff. I was fortunate enough to see him/them on tour performing his solo material. He does however say some ridiculous shit regarding non-vegetarians and shit. I'm not sure why an ex heroin addict can pass judgement on people for eating burgers, but whatever. |

I'd say in spite of the crazy, but I'm half convinced it's because they're nuts that they can make such good stuff. |

One of the things I've always enjoyed about Social D is their love for guys like Johnny Cash and Hank Williams. Grew up riding around the cotton fields with my granddad singing or humming Hang Williams songs.
