Those were all second lieutenants. View Quote Once a Second Lieutenant I know threw a grenade during the TBS 'War' that hit a tree 15 yards away and bounced directly back into his platoon leader's fighting position. It was a million to one shot, but I couldn't convince anyone it was an accident. |

My nephew recently graduated boot camp. I'll have to see if they taught him how to do that.

View Quote Definitely ours. Some brits in the stack up tho. L85 in their hands doesn't mean anything. ETA; 6th Marine Regiment and some security force guys it seems like. The fact that there isn't a single M16/M4 means the Marines just used the Brits' stuff since its just dry runs anyways. |

I always knew our Marines trained with L85s... I just knew it.

All those guys were holding bullpup rifles, where were the US Marines at? Im confused.

Alright, that was funny. He's going to be getting shit about that for a while.

That's a tactical entry/exit maneuver. Pro level shit. Also performed successfully in Blackhawk Down to evade the trap set by that Somali kid and his dad in the alley. http://i59.tinypic.com/xbmr2c.jpg View Quote I've seen that kid, he lives in Minnesota now..... |

Hmm. I guess we were using their weapons.....because those are not M4's or A4's.

I'll have to dig up the pics of me shooting a G36 with the Germans.
I guess I'm Bundeswehr now. |

Looks like a fine example of tactically operating the surprise basement stairs

I had the privilege of getting drunk as a lord with an RM Sargent Major in Hong Kong once upon a time. I had no idea who we was until later when a young RM Corporal told me he was a hero in the Faulklands... Also, fond memories of PT with the RM Color Sargeant at Quantico...
