Have read "about" the hilarious, outrageous, crazy, and just plain memorable posts that "Chief Thunder" was notorious for, on the forums nearly 15 years ago, (which are brought up almost as much as his good deals.)

Curious to see some of these Posts, Quotes, arguments, or famous "Riddles" that people speak so much about! Seems like they would be entertaining.

All I can find are threads of people talking "about him" AFTER he was arrested though or when he was getting out! (Via Google searches.)

(Makes me wonder if his stuff was deleted once he got in trouble.)

Anyone have any links? I had no luck...

Yes indeed, like his motto: "He scalped the competition!"

Just wondering if any links still exist to ANY of his "posts" he made that seemed to intrigue (and even offend) so many? (Was this place his stomping ground???)

Although, being when he got in trouble, I could imagine forum mods possibly seeing his activity as "Illegal" and possibly deleting it to not have any affiliation with it.

He's like a Myth, you hear tales of him but cannot find any true posts. Cant even find the ones when he was "Hopewell" on one of the AK forums...

Is this a real quote from him?

I figured he would go into rants but seems he would drink and say funny/ off the wall slogans if these are quotes.

I'm just curious if anyone can find more than I could on "google"???

Those were the AK salad days. Especially if you liked 74s.

Edited: I saw him more on AK-47.net.

Seems that NO actual quote or post from the Chief exists online.

Unless Gunsnet still has some stored.

Due to his arrest I can imagine this site deleting all of his stuff over a decade ago, unless just so old in the archives that it doesn't even show up.

He was from somewhere in NY wasn't he and spoke (wrote on threads) as if he was some sort of native American chief from a 1950s TV show - that had cheap AK parts and ammo  imported from poland and bulgaria.

What was his crime?  being funny without a permit or some sad thing or some import violation?

I remember those days on the AKfiles I'd login to see what he had to say just to laugh.

The chiefs crime had to do with importation of dealer samples(post samples) or something like that. The police chief that signed the chief's letters, denied signing those letters. The chief did his time and as far as I know is still a free man.
He did post a few times somewhere after he was released. He mentioned getting back into the ak parts business, non- ffl stuff only. Nothing ever came of it as far as i know.
