Yesterday I flew back to town and hopped on the parking shuttle. Across the aisle from me there was a guy who asked me where I got the shirt I was wearing; it's an old T-shirt with Molon Labe over the pocket. I couldn't recall at the moment where I got it 8 or 9 years ago (later remembered it came from the arfcom store).
Then he asked me, "Do you know what it means?" I told him I did and was waiting to see if he was an anti or a friendly. But surprise! He told me he's Greek, and from near Thermopylae. He had no inkling of the expression's association with the right to keep and bear arms. |
