If you are eating ice cream right now, or were asked what kind of ice cream you would eat right now, what would it be?

I'm destroying what's left of the mint chocolate chip we had on hand in the Pilum residence.

Also, I know they're commies, but I will house Chunky Monkey (banana ice cream with chocolate and walnuts) whenever its available.

B&J isn't really commie anymore. Unilever owns the brand. Regardless, it's great ice cream.

My home made rum-raisin. Next would be Hagen-Daz rum raisin. Graeter's mint-chocolate chip is hard to beat.

Mint Chocolate Chip is probably my favorite classic type flavor. There is a local place that does all sorts of really good crazy stuff that would be good at any given time.

Just brought back memories from over 30 years ago. Knocking back those clown ice cream cones from Baskin Robbins.

I'm sure they are nasty, but back then they rocked.

This, for off-the-shelf stuff.

Better yet is homemade French Vanilla, with farm-fresh egg yolks. It is enough, all by itself, to change the opinions of those who say there is no difference in taste between store-bought and home-raised eggs.

Made some with chocolate with Ghirardelli cocoa powder too. It was a close race, but ultimately vanilla prevailed. Ben & Jerry's was left stumbling and gasping for breath at the starting gate.
