| I am trying to round up a clowder of cats that came to my yard a few days ago. It's a mother and 5 kittens that are probably 2 or 3 months old. The mom is friendly but all the kittens are real skittish. I have a cat and he is a big tomcat that comes and goes in the house but hangs around the yard. He isn't real happy about 6 extra cats in his territory but so far he is being nice. I have a friend with a farm and he wants the cats but I can't figure out how to capture all of them at once without chasing them all over hell and scaring the shit out of them. I need them gone before my cat starts attacking them. My wife suggested tranquilizer in some food and I remember the vet gave us a pill to put in the tomcats food when we had his nuts removed and he went to sleep so we could get him out there. Is this a viable choice? |

Your local rescue or shelter may be able to lend you hav a hearts so you can trap. Then you can spay/neuter and release at the new home. All at once may be a tall order. I think you may only be able to do one at a time.
Better get a move on before you have grandkittens.
