[ARCHIVED THREAD] - How Many Targets In This Picture? (Page 1 of 2)

If 1600x1067 isn't enough resolution for you, I guess you'll just have to wait for the non-mole people to answer. Those less tech-savvy may not realize how to get to the full resolution photo (those displayed within ARF normally are resized if beyond a certain size - didn't you notice that?). ETA - Not to mention that such a resolution isn't very high for what we're supposed to be looking at - objects that are quite small relative to the entire frame size, and quite possibly out-of-focus at their distance as well. |

Here is a little help - here is a picture of the furthest popper as it goes down: http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=80272 Which looks considerably different than this, the first one you posted: ![]() |

If you zoom them to the same size, they look a lot more similar. |

OP posts a pic of nothing and then gets annoyed when no one can see anything, so he posts a pic of something to show there's nothing in the first pic. GD rules. Not annoyed at all. I think it is a great example of how even plain white targets standing in the open can be difficult to spot once you get off a nice, well-mown range with wind flags. These poppers aren't hidden. They aren't even 10' from the road. They're painted white even (though as the second picture shows shadowing makes them look kind of dull gray until they start to fall as they are angled forward a bit). |

I imagine they are much easier to see when not taken with a potato. |

No, they are difficult to see when looking at a medium resolution photo off a mediocre camera. That's a whole different story than actually standing there. |

Put 76 blind, drunk, retards in front of 5 buttons and tell them to hit one at random and your results would likely be the same. |
