You may remember my last thread about tripod, the 3-legged deer. We haven't seen her since June and thought she might have died.
Today she made another appearance; she looks to have some skin/fur issues, and the flies look like they're eating her alive, but she's still around.
Still getting around pretty good too!

| Her skin issues could be shedding summer coat to winter coat. And with it being her hind leg it won't effect her breeding which is obvious. I raised different deer species for awhile and had a red deer hind that I had to cut her leg off about like Tripods. She had the first fawn every year. And got to where she'd eat out of a bucket you held. Ruby the Red Deer. Glad tripod is doing well. |
