That seller obviously doesn't care about getting top dollar, or didn't know what values were correct.
He also sold a Remington 700 at the same time. Gave almost zero details, but the picture showed what looked like a blued receiver, blued bull barrel, and set in a McMillan A5 with adjustable cheekpice, with a mounted one piece base. For $700. 
He currently has another really good deal.... a 300winmag, in a manners stock, with a nice rail system, bipod, and throwing in a pelican 1750 for $1250. |

I bought a BW5 early on........had lots of extraction/ejection issues.........
Threw a HK extractor/spring, and clipped/pinned lower with a modded FBI ambidextrous pack on it, and it never missed another beat........ Ran 124gr Winchester Q4318 thru it almost exclusively....... 750 is a smokin deal.....that's stripped-receiver price......everything else is "gravy"...... |
